I am by your side to help from the moment you book me. I typically schedule a chit chat, whether it is in person or online, to go over any details, questions and concerns - or to just to chat & get to know each other! I see myself as part time planner sometimes, because photography is all about being at the right spot at the right time. I am more than willing to help out with getting an itinerary together to make sure your wedding day is as smooth as it can be. If you choose to have a wedding planner/coordinator, I am more than eager to work with them & together we will make your wedding be the wedding of your dreams!

My personal work style is very fly on the wall, documentary-ish. I love to capture moments as they are & as they come, I try to avoid over-posing because I want the genuine you to shine through on your day. I work with the flow of the day, so if something in your schedule gets bumped around - no problem! We just work with it.

I will send over some previews within 48 hours of photographing the event, so you can get a little preview! After that you will receive an online gallery link with all your edited photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story)*. From there, you can download all the photos from the gallery to enjoy, and it’s a perfect time to pick out any favorites for printing! To share photos with family & friends, if you don’t want to give out the gallery link, I do put together a blog post of your wedding day highlights. I find this is an easy way to share your photos without overwhelming everyone with the task of going through hundreds and hundreds of photos - it is also a great way to keep some moments private if you desire that.

Depending on the wedding package you choose, you may get an included custom USB drive (you can always purchase one if not included with the package). That USB drive will have all your edited photos, well as black & white copies, to keep with you forever.

*My online galleries do expire after some time (specified per wedding package). Feel free to email me for more information regarding re-uploading past galleries.

For 9 hours of coverage during the wedding, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity. Creating and capturing unique, special moments means less posed and stiff photographs which is why I will choose the best and most significant photos to tell your story.

I'm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story outside of my immediate area, it will require a travel fee depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to find my way to your location!
