Thought it was time for a studio update for the blog. I moved studios recently, now I’m working in my friends basement (forever & always grateful for the space I get to use <3 ). Typically I work out of garages, not so paper friendly in these Minnesotan winters, so to have a nice heated space (with hot water) has been glorious to work with! I have found my go to “house blend” as I’ll call it for my paper, and slowly but surely I’m getting the hang of using my new multi-sheet SHare Studio mould & deckle. Which, by the way, her mould & deckles are so amazing, already have a list of all the other ones I want to buy one day in the future.
Anyways, thought I would share a few photos from the last time I made paper. I like to document my studio & practice every so often for other curious papermakers who like to see how others work, but also so I can see how my set up & style changes as I continue to learn and grow!
