Brie & Michael — or should I say EZ BrieZ Michael SqueeZy? It’s hard to fully capture in writing just how special their wedding day was (luckily we have photos for this!). Despite the rain (and yes, it rained all day), what unfolded was nothing short of incredible.

The ceremony location had to be completely changed at the last minute, some of the décor didn’t quite survive the weather, and the string quartet was battling the elements. And yet, the day was filled with so much joy. There was laughter, encouragement, even an impromptu dance break to every song with “rain” in the lyrics, and the kind of love that fills a space no matter the forecast.

And just when we thought the day had given us everything it could, the sun came out right before sunset! You can’t plan moments like that.

I’m so deeply grateful to the couples who trust me to capture their day, come rain or shine. Brie & Michael, thank you for letting me be part of yours.

P.S. Michael — I still haven’t recovered from your mother/son dance song choice. Editing those photos took extra breaks and several tissues! Just saying!!
